Therapy that meets you
where you are.

Hi, I'm Hailey — a Registered Psychologist offering individual and couples therapy rooted in mindfulness, compassion, and a deep respect for your story.

Hailey Allegro, Registered Psychologist
You're not alone

You might be here
because something shifted.

Anxiety has been louder than usual, and it's hard to quiet your mind — even when nothing's wrong.

Something painful happened, and it's still living inside you in ways you can't quite explain.

You're navigating a major change — and feel untethered.

Your relationships keep showing the same patterns, and you're tired of the loop.

You're doing everything for everyone else — and somewhere in there, you got lost.

Something just feels off, and you don't want to keep going like this.

A safe place to
be honest with yourself.

I believe everyone has a capacity for healing and growth — sometimes we just need someone to walk with us while we find our way back to it. My approach is warm, curious, and grounded in mindfulness, with space for both the heavy things and the lighter ones.

Outside of work, I'm a wife and a mom to a busy little boy. That season of life has taught me a lot about presence, patience, and the messy beauty of being human. I try to bring that same realness into our sessions.

Book a free 15-minute call

We'll have a short, no-pressure phone call. You can ask anything, share what's bringing you to therapy, and we'll figure out together if it feels like a good fit. If it's not — that's okay, and I'm happy to point you toward someone who might be.

Frequently Asked

Questions you
might have.

If you have a question that isn't answered here, please reach out — I'm happy to chat through anything that's on your mind before we start.

Ask a question
It really depends on what you're working through and what your goals are. Some folks find what they're looking for in 6–10 sessions; others come for longer-term support. We'll check in along the way to make sure the work still feels meaningful — and you're always free to take a break or finish whenever feels right.
Sessions with a Registered Psychologist are covered under most extended health benefits plans. I offer direct billing for many providers, so you may not need to pay out of pocket — and I always provide a detailed receipt after each session for any remaining reimbursement. Coverage amounts vary, so I recommend confirming your specific coverage directly with your insurer.
Yes — what we talk about stays between us, with a few legal exceptions that I'll walk you through in our first session (these involve safety and are outlined by the College of Alberta Psychologists). My priority is creating a space that feels truly safe to be open in.
That's completely normal — and you don't need to come prepared. I'll ask questions, we'll follow what feels alive in the moment, and sometimes the most meaningful sessions start from "I'm not sure where to begin." Trust that what needs to come up will come up.
The best option is the one that feels most accessible for you. Research shows therapy is effective in any of these formats. Many clients mix it up — in-person sometimes, virtual when life gets busy. We'll find what works for you.
As a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists, I'm a regulated health professional with a Master's-level education in Counselling Psychology and ongoing training requirements. Both psychologists and counsellors can provide therapy — the differences are mostly in education, regulation, and what insurance plans typically cover.
